GETTING MARRIED ABROAD?...

This is your piece of comfort and guide to knowing exactly how you plan to take your dream wedding dress to your tropical wedding destination!
STEP 1
DRESS SHOPPING!
You've probably got all kinds of factors in your mind about your dress, remember, as well as wanting the dress to fit in nicely with your chosen venue, it is so important that the dress reflects 'you' as a person and makes you feel the best version of yourself whilst wearing it! This is the most special day and regardless of the venue, you should choose the most special dress for you even if it is a ballgown in the tropical sunshine, you only get this moment once so make it sparkle!
STEP 2
SPEAK TO YOUR AIRLINE
It's important when arranging to fly your dress out with you that you speak with your airline to get their dimension allowances for your dress box. Once this information is confirmed, you need to buy your dress box according to the style of dress you have chosen, but do not buy it bigger than the airlines allowed dimensions. Please also make sure you buy acid free tissue paper that we will wrap with your dress. Your dress should travel with you as hand luggage, after finding 'the one' you wont want to let it out of sight!
STEP 3
FITTINGS
You've got the dress, the box has arrived, now lets get you in for fittings!

You'll be seen for your first fitting, around 8 weeks before departure by our fabulous seamstress Lesley, who will listen to what areas you'd like adjusting and will pin accordingly. We will then book you in for your second fitting 3/4 weeks later where Lesley will see you in the dress and will see if there are any further adjustments or tweaking that needs to be done. Please make sure that on your second fitting you bring the box in to us so that we have it ready for packing your dress.
STEP 4
COLLECTION AND OFF YOU GO!
Once your final fitting with Lesley has concluded, we will book you in for a day to collect your beautiful dress and accessories. The day before you are due to collect we steam your dress and carefully pack it away in your dress box ready for you. Then you catch your flight and get married!
